A condition that causes the finger to catch, stick, or lock when bending or straightening. Some people also have pain at the base of the finger, often linked to inflammation and swelling of the tendon and tendon sheath.
Physiotherapy helps reduce pain and improve finger mobility through manual therapy, stretching, and appropriate finger movement exercises — so the fingers move more freely and limitations in hand use are reduced.
Programme includes
01 Assess pain, mobility, and finger limitations
02 RSWT — Radial Shockwave at the affected area
03 Ultrasound Therapy for pain and tissue flexibility
04 Hot or cold pack as appropriate
